Dear brethren,

I just received this notice from Jonathan Carino about his father’s death.  It has been a privilege for me to work with both of these faithful evangelists for many years.  Ramon was highly respected for his godly life both among the churches in the Philippines and in his local community by its citizens and leaders.  He was a rock of strength and stability which will be sorely missed.

On April 21, 2000 I heard him make the following observation and wrote it in the front of my Bible:  “Light obeyed bringeth more light.  Light resisted, rejected bringeth night!”

Ramon’s wife died a couple of years ago.

Please pray for the Carino family during their time of mourning.

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints” (Ps. 116:15).

It is with sadness that the time has come to inform you that my dad, RAMON G. CARIÑO, SR. has passed this earthly life this afternoon at 4:44 December 26, 2018 at the age of 94.

It is with joy that he has finished the race and waiting for his reward.
