Dear loved ones,
I just a few minutes ago arrived at home to be with Donna and the saints here in Shepherdsville, KY whom I always miss when out preaching. My return from Australia to Manila and from Manila to home was safe.
By God’s grace it has been my privilege again to work with our wonderful brethren in the Philippines and in Australia. ASAP I will get a summary report prepared and sent out. There were 31 baptisms in the Philippines and also good response in Australia.
I always recognize that the local saints in these places are the ones doing the daily work year in and year out, whereas I am only a visitor for a short time to share with them in their work. It is not so much my work as their work, and ultimately all of our work is in God’s hands as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:6-8,
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth;
but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one:
and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
Thank you to every brother and sister here at home and abroad who helps to make these trips possible by your prayers, your many forms of assistance, and your encouraging words!
Often many email messages are unattended because of my trips. Please do not think I have intentionally ignored anyone. As time allows, I will do my best to read them and respond.
