Willie Pastor Update 2-25-2015
Dear brethren,
I asked brother Willie Pastor to provide an update on his present situation and needs. I asked him to list all his needs as well as his sources of income, which he did. It is not likely all his needs will be met, but any amount will be a blessing to his work and his family.
Anyone who sends support should use MoneyGram or Western Union but avoid sending checks through the mail (they are easily lost or stolen in the Philippines). If you are not familiar with M.G. or W.U., I can provide information about these services.
Feel free to correspond with Willie at willieoteypastor@rocketmail. com and he will answer any questions.

HUMBLE PLEA FOR ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FEB. 25, 2015
Dear Brother Ron,
May our Lord help us and guide us always as we do His will.
I am so thankful to the Lord for His greatness that yet I am a sinner He opens a door for me to work in His vineyard. Working with Brethren and with you is a wonderful opportunity. There is no much happier than to have fruits in sharing the gospel.
I hope you were fine continuing your work for the Lord there in your place. I have reports for the past weeks and hope you already find time to read it. This is to humbly ask help from you again. Before I go on I simply want to tell several details of the work I am doing and the support I am presently receiving from the two congregations who have fellowship with me in the work for many years.
I am working with two congregations here in Cabarroguis, a town where I grew up. In our Sunday schedules, first at 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Gundaway, second at 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Burgos and third back to Gundaway for the 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. service. Burgos Church is the one started year 2006 through our efforts. During the time I was in prison they strive to do their best to serve the Lord. In my returned I suppose to not stay working with them as I see that they can stand without me but they earnestly seek my decision to continue working with them again. I would like also to mention that most of the Brethren in Burgos were unfortunate but they strive to leave simply as Christians. Gundaway Church was started last January 4, 2015. The location of this congregation is at the center of the town. Way Back 1970’s to 1980’s a healthy congregation of Christian is in here but now the congregation has been out of existence. This is our purpose to locate the remaining Brethren with in this area and as well opening new door for all who have interest to have hope in heaven. Since we have the effort in this area the Lord directed us to the brethren. Now we have 50 in all gathering since last Sunday.
The distance between Burgos Church and Gundaway Church is 40 minutes drive. In this manner to cope up with the 3 services we need to be on time in starting and closing each services. Burgos Church has its own meeting place which we built and started 2006 little by little and it was made of wood. In Gundaway Church we rent a small meeting place for Php 5,000.00 each month. We have collections each week but what we have this time is not enough for paying the rent and the other needs of the church. Most of the Brethren who were invited and restored are also underprivileged. Just a bird eye view we have three families who are school teachers, one family has business, other are laborers and students.
Beside the work here in the province my wife and I also continue have fellowship with Brother Sonny Ibanez Sr. in prison by helping him a little amount each month and sending him things he need for the work there. We send grape juice and other things he need through the LBC and we were so happy that he keeps doing his best for the Lord despite of the hardship he faces in prison.
About my family, we have four children, two are now in college in Baguio City and two are in elementary grades. We were so thankful to the Brethren who keeps supported us especially during the time that I was away with my loving family. My family and I wanted to extend our sincere gratitude to the Elders and Brethren in Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in West Virginia by sending support to us every two months ($ 205.00) and to the Elders and Brethren in Woodlands hill Church of Christ in Conroe Texas ($ 250.00 until October, 2015 and by November, 2015 it will go back to $ 200.00 each month). These are my regular support. We are so thankful to the Brethren who many in times sent amount to help us for our need for the family and for the work and to you my dear Brother for keep helping us. Also, our other source is the variety store which was given by mother Virgie Bell years ago.
I need $800 additional support each month especially to help with the following expenses: $500 for preaching needs – travel allowance (gas and monthly maintenance of the vehicle), printing reading materials for distributions and rental of the meeting place in Gundaway. We need to maintain visiting and have Bible studies to the Brethren and prospects not only for Gundaway but also in Burgos and anywhere that has the opportunity to preach the gospel. Most of the brethren in Gundaway live in the neighboring town of Cabarrogius. And $300 for the needs of our two daughters in college – for their tuition fees, food and travel allowances, boarding house rental, water and electric bills and other school needs. It is the greatest concern of my wife especially during the time I am away with them. And the one we are presently receiving from the congregations mentioned will be for our house needs – food, electric bills and with some other important needs.
I am not good in explaining everything but I hope this will help you to understand our needs. Our prayers that God may help us all.
Brother Ron, thank you very much for keep helping and understanding me and my family. We pray that our good Lord will help you and keep you always. We love you.
In Christian Love,
Willie Pastor
