Nov 30-Dec 1 (Fri-Sat) Singing classes at Kapitbahayan, Navotas, Metro Manila with Jerry Toreja

Dec 2 (Sun) Preach in Manila: Ron at prison with Ely Ebuenga; Jim at Edsa-Pasay with Rody Gumpad;
Steven at Navotas with Elias Cruz; PM at Paranaque with Jimmy Battung

Dec 3-7 (Mon-Fri) Monday leave travel to Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, work with Dario Belviz;

Dear brethren,

God willing, November 27-December 18 I will labor for the Master in the Philippines, my 72^nd trip since Jim McDonald first took me there in 1995. Jim Barnett who labors with the saints in Hope, NM and  Steven Saunders who preaches in Macon, MO will be making their third trip with me.  These men are not only competent evangelists but also excellent song leaders who can teach singing – and Filipino brethren dearly love to sing the praises of God.  Psalm 148 calls upon all the creation to praise Jehovah:  “Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven” (Ps. 148:13).  We sing this psalm by singing the beautiful song “Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah.”

The three of us will leave our respective homes on November 27 to meet in Detroit, MI, then fly to Tokyo, Japan, and arrive in Manila late on the night of November 28.  Filipino brethren will meet us the next day to repack materials we will bring to be shipped to the places where our gospel meetings are planned.

Dear brethren in the Philippines,

By God’s grace I hope to preach and teach God’s Word in your nation July 6-August 1.  For the first time, Zach & Taya Martin will join me in teaching through July 19.
Zach has finished his first year of medical school and is preparing to become a physician.  Taya is a school teacher. Due to the needs of their schedules here in the U.S.,
my itinerary is different from most of my summer trips which concentrate on Mindanao.  Also the visits on Luzon and Cebu are shorter than normal
in order to accommodate their needs to return to the U.S. before my trip is complete.  This young couple will be an encouragement to you even though they cannot stay long.

Dear brethren,

The gospel of Christ will be preached July 3-August 2 on my 71st Philippine trip after Jim McDonald first took me in 1995.  Zach and Taya Martin will join the trip.  He will have finished his first year of medical school and she is a school teacher, but both put the highest priority on teaching God’s Word.  We go because precious souls seek God in the spirit of Psalm 63:1, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.”

After our arrival in Manila on July 4, the next morning Filipino brethren will assist us in repacking boxes of Bibles and study materials brought on the plane to be distributed as we travel and teach.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

First, I would like to introduce myself to each of you. My name is Zach Martin and I am a fellow brother in Christ who worships at Hebron Lane Church of Christ in Shepherdsville, KY where Ron Halbrook and David Dann are evangelists. As a 16-year-old, I decided to start attending Hebron Lane with my girlfriend (Taya Rush) in 2010. A couple of years later, I submitted my life to Christ in baptism. Since then, my girlfriend inherited my last name through marriage (6/10/16) and we have continued to grow in faith and love. Currently, Taya teaches Pre-K at Okolona Elementary school and I am a first-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Dear brethren,

Plans are made for my 69^th preaching trip to the Philippines and my 7^th trip to Australia January 30–February 20.  I thank God for Jim McDonald first bringing me to the Philippines in 1995.  We press forward in this work, knowing God’s purpose in Jesus who died and rose for our salvation: “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:9-11, NIV).  Every creature in heaven and earth, now living or dead, will bow the knee to Jesus Christ in this life or on Judgment Day. Some do so willingly and receive the reward of heaven, while a host of sinners will do so reluctantly when they receive their righteous judgment to hell.  We must call men to salvation before it is too late!

The flights on January 30-31 will bring me to Manila in the Philippines.  The next day Filipino brethren will meet me to re-pack six boxes of Bibles and study materials for distribution at various venues.

Dear brethren,

November 28-December 19 will make my 68^th preaching trip to the Philippines and my 8^th trip to New Zealand.  I am ever thankful for Jim McDonald starting me in this work in 1995. First principles of the gospel will be emphasized with confidence they will bear fruit to the salvation of souls and the glory of God.  Paul thanked God for the faith and love of the saints at Colosse “that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth” (Col. 1:3-6, NIV).  Yes, the gospel bears fruit “all over the world” including the Philippines and New Zealand!

After flying from Louisville, KY to Manila in the Philippines November 28-29, I will ship six boxes loaded with Bibles, study materials, and a few personal items like eye glasses.  Filipino brethren will meet me and help to re-pack these materials for shipment to various places in the Philippines.
