Dear brethren,

The next Philippine preaching trip August 1-29 will be number 67 since Jim McDonald first took me in 1995.  I plan to edify saints, preach to the lost, and conduct training classes for preachers.  John saw visions of angels who announced God’s wrath on Rome for idolatry, immorality, and persecuting Christians.  One angel proclaimed “the everlasting gospel” of victory to martyred saints and defeat to their enemies:  “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people” (Rev. 14:6).  The everlasting gospel still proclaims victory to God’s faithful saints and defeat to all Satan’s forces today!

I will arrive in Manila late on the evening of August 3. Thursday Filipino brethren will meet me to ship boxes of teaching materials ahead to the venues where they will be used.

Dear brethren,

God opened a door for me to join Jim McDonald preaching in the Philippines in 1995 and a door is now open for my 65^th trip February 16-March 7.  This trip is shorter than usual because I will visit only Manila and northern Luzon.  The main goal is to edify and encourage saints who suffered from the terrible typhoon in October.  Benevolence funds have been sent as much as possible, but the recovery is slow.  They need not only financial help but also strengthening of their faith.  Satan demanded Jesus to turn stones to bread, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matt. 4:4).

After arriving in Manila, I will make some preparations such as visiting a moneychanger and sorting boxes of books to be shipped ahead.  On Sunday I will preach in Manila and then start the long journey which will carry me across a large swath of northern Luzon.

Dear brethren,

If God wills, I will travel November 29 to the Philippines to preach for the 64^th time since He first permitted me to go with Jim McDonald in 1995.  Doors are open in other lands as well. December 9-20 will be devoted to working with the saints in New Zealand for the 7^th time since 2009.  Next, Australia is scheduled for December 20–January 5 for the 6^th time since 2011.  Finally, I return to Manila January 5 and come home on the 10^th, God willing.  As the Son of God, Jesus Christ alone has the authority to save our souls from sin.  All the world must know our Savior has come!  “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age’” (Matt. 28:18-20, ESV).

Dear brethren,

By God’s providence I am preparing for my 63^rd Philippine preaching trip July 26-August 25, after Jim McDonald taking me the first time in 1995.  I will labor with Filipino preachers in fields ripe unto harvest. Two weeks will be spent on grounding and upgrading preachers for their great work.  They in turn will train others.  The gospel torch must pass from one generation to another until the end of time.  “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Tim. 2:2).

Dear brethren,

God willing, I leave for the Philippines Monday, April 4.  I look forward to this trip and the potential for many good results.  When we faithfully plant and water, God gives the increase.  Filipino brethren are diligently preparing for our work together.

This work is no more important than the work anywhere else, but it is a harvest time in the Philippines and doors truly are open wide on every side.  I am about $5,000 short at this time to cover all the expected expenses.  I have recently concentrated on raising funds for the victims of a yearlong drought and am in the process of sending about $5,000 which has been donated to various locations in southern Mindanao where the most severe conditions persist.  This need will extend for the next several months.  I do not regret that this $5,000 is going to the drought victims, I only wish it could be more.  Thank you to everyone who has sent or will be sending for the saints suffering in the drought!

Dear brethren,

God blessed me by permitting me to join Jim McDonald preaching in the Philippines in 1995 and now my 62nd trip is planned for April 4-26.  It is a harvest season in that land and there are open doors on every side.  Many souls are being saved as citadels of sin and error fall before the power of the gospel. Paul wrote of “the weapons of our warfare” being “mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” and “casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:4-5).

Dear brethren,

Time waits for no man and we are already well into 2016 – it is time for my 61^st preaching trip to the Philippines since first going with Jim McDonald in 1995.  The trip is planned for February 9-25.  By God’s good providence, it is harvest time in the Philippines as many Filipinos are searching for God, for truth, and for salvation.  What a privilege we have to proclaim the unsearchable riches of the gospel of Christ to hungry souls.  When many turned away from Christ, he asked the Apostles if they would also leave him. “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God” (Jn. 6:68-69).
